Have you ever noticed your dryer isn’t working like it used to and is taking much too long to effectively dry clothing? This could be caused by clogged and uncleaned dryer vents.
By simply cleaning your dryer vent you can prolong the life of the dryer, increase efficiency and improve safety of your home.
On average there are over 15,000 dryer-related house fires each year, causing millions in property damage. The most common cause of dryer-related fires is uncleaned and clogged vents and lint traps. Simply cleaning out the lint trap after each load and annually cleaning the vents will greatly reduce the risk of a dryer fire. Not only will clean vents reduce the risk of fire, it can help prolong the life of your dryer.
Our Dryer Safety Cleaning System is an easy solution for removing lint build up and improving safety and efficiency.
The Dryer Safety Cleaning System fits on your drill and includes four 3' flexible shafts, two lint brushes, a vacuum and dryer adapters to cut down on the mess.
How To:
Step 1: Unplug your dryer from the power source. Pull the unit away from the wall to expose the back of the unit. Disconnect the exhaust hose and you’re ready to start.
Step 2: Attach the self-feeding auger brush to the end of 1 flexible shaft. Next attach the opposite end of the shaft into your drill. Spinning the drill in a clockwise direction slowly insert the brush into the wall vent, working back and forth to disrupt and loosen the lint build up.
Step 3: With the brush still in the vent, remove the shaft from the drill and attach another section of shaft to the one attached to the brush. From here attach the now 2 shafts and brush to the drill and start the cleaning process. Repeat this step until the brush is able to reach the end of the vent. For longer vent pipes a 12 foot extension available.
Step 4: Remove the Dryer Safety Cleaning System from the vent, clean up any lint that may have fallen on the floor and reattached the exhaust hose to your dryer. Once this is done, return your dryer to its original position and plug it in.
If a drill isn’t accessible this Dryer Vent Brush will work.

The Ultimate Dryer Vent Seal replaces standard 4" vent hoods and louver vents and saves energy by preventing air from entering your home. As the hot air from your dryer enters the seal, it pushes up a floating shuttle and escapes out the bottom. When your dryer stops, the shuttle drops down, sealing the vent to keep out hot or cold air, pest and more
