Each of our Bulletproof Backpacks comes with its own NIJ Level IIIA Certificate to show it meets the ballistic requirements to be considered bulletproof up to 44 Magnum. At Sporty’s we take pride in testing and using what we sell so we sent some supersonic ordnance into our backpack to test its capability. We placed our Bulletproof Backpack in a safe location and fired three 9mm rounds into the front of the bag. As promised the Backpack stopped all three rounds and the bullets didn’t penetrate the Kevlar. After dissecting the Backpack we found three almost completely flattened 9mm bullets stuck to the first layer of Kevlar. More than a Bulletproof shield, this is a high quality Backpack that’s made to be used everyday just like any other bag you’ve ever owned. But now it’s Bulletproof.
