Create a flourishing garden by tilling and cultivating with this light-duty Tiller

Small tillers are great for maintaining large gardens, but seldom used gasoline powered models can be more trouble than they’re worth. Say goodbye to mixing gas and oil, and the smell and noise from their tiny, overworked 2-cycle engines. No more pulling a ridiculous cord a thousand times when spring rolls around just to get it started. Our solution? Our Electric Tiller/Cultivator provides all the performance of a gas tiller, with none of the problems. The powerful high-torque 9 AMP electric motor plows the dual-4 blade steel tines through hard ground effortlessly—and no hearing protection needed! 5 3/4" dia. wheels easily flips down for easy rolling to the garden, then flip up for tilling. Operates on 120v, tills a cutting width of 11" and a depth up to 8". Measures about 41"h x 15"w x 43"d and weighs 23 1/2 lbs.

Good tiller for gardener
Light weight and easy to maneuver in the garden. Didn't drag me along, and I was able to hold it in place while the tines were revolving. It has plenty of power for an electric, and it is dependable.

Worked well in my small raised bed plot (8 x 24 ft). It tends to throw soil forward on the initial pass through compacted material, but I contained this by propping a small piece of plywood against the fence.

I have a cord do I need your cord?

I used my own 100 ft extension cord. I went to half way point in garden and worked one direction, then switched and did the other direction. I was pleased with the power of this tiller.o

Is this put together when it's shipped?

The handle needs to be assembled and attached to the body. The accompanying instructions are somewhat less than explicit, but looking at the picture on the box will provide adequate guidance. It took me less than 15 minutes to put it all together with simple tools. The unit worked well in my garden this year.
