This natural habitat is made of reed grass and cedar to naturally blend into the environment and provide safe shelter for a variety of non-migrating songbirds. Birds desire a house made of rough material because rough surfaces make entering and exiting easier. The reed grass and cedar roof provide the shelter they need and are also resistant to premature decay. Roosting Pockets are especially beneficial to non-migrating songbirds during the winter months as they need refuge from harsh storms, wind, freezing rain, heavy snow, and the bitter cold. Simply hang in a tree by looping twine over a limb, or use a small tack through the provided mounting hole. Attracts Chickadees, Wrens, House Finches, and many more songbirds.
