Great Hose storage reel
Easy to install and is easier to use than if attached to house outside wall. It also looks good. You can rotate the hose reel in any direction to make it easy to unwind. Over the years, the attached wall hose hangers constantly fell off wall and this hose reel solved my problem forever.

How do you install the post mount?

Mine was concreted in. But be very careful when you wind up the garden hose. The stand is not as sturdy as I thought it would be. That hose gets heavier on that reel.

Does the reel lock in place or is it always on swivel?

There is a tab which flips down to hold the reel in the direction you want the hose to unspool.

Instructions on how to set in concrete?

we used a cardboard cylinder from Lowes, dug down a foot, drove 3 pieces of re-bar from the center out & down, leaving the free ends to be covered with concrete. we cut the cardboard tube to length, filled it with concrete, plumbed the reel post, and used a broom handle to "tamp" the concrete to lessen air pockets. Concrete has a 30 day cure time, so I covered it and kept it wet for a month. My wife glued glass "beads" on top of the concrete.

Where is this product made?

I don’t know where it was made, but it is one of the best outdoor items I have ever purchased. Super easy to use and simple to store when cold weather arrives.

how much concrete do you need?

Typically one 50lb bag of concrete mix is more than enough. The hole does not need to be wider than about 6". When installing, the concrete should be slightly above grade and minimally rounded so the rain doesn't pool around the post.
