With many options to choose from when it comes to Emergency Jump-Starters, features and specs can be overwhelming. Today I’m going to sort through the technical specs and give you the cold hard facts the way I like, easy and to the point. Let’s get to it!
Lets start with the size of your cars engine, do you have an I4, V6, V8, V10, or don’t know?
If you don’t know which engine you have there’s a few things you can do. Write down your cars VIN from inside the driver’s door and enter it into an online Vin code decoder, the results will show which engine and the size of it. Secondly you can usually pop the hood and the engine will be labeled. Lastly, you can check your cars paperwork from the dealership and see what’s listed. If all else fails you can call your local dealership and have them run your VIN and let you know what your vehicle has under the hood.
